Leverage 1-2 set seasons

I'm really Leverage 1-2 set seasons excited for the arrival of my complete BTVS Series. Although I've seen every episode at least 3 times (thanks to the DVR), I'm looking forward to watching every episode in order and in the highest quality possible. This is a smart, innovative show with superb writing, wonderful young (and not so young) actors, and real life situations and emotions woven into the supernatural world that is Buffy's. The more powerful and slayery Buffy gets, the more vulnerable she becomes. Her supporting cast of characters are fresh and fun. They have a language all their own, however, you can still understand what they say. I've never been able to decide if this series is horror, comedy or drama. Actually, is all of the above, combined. As for the storylines, they are interwoven, some even cheap It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia series between non-consecutive seasons. References to past events and comments are smattered throughout. As a prime example, at the end of an episode in Season One, after the big bad has been taken out, Buffy's watcher comments as he looks on, "The earth is doomed", while Buffy and friends skip off to class. In the series finale (Season Seven), right before the last big bad battle, Buffy's watcher comments "The earth is definately doomed" as Buffy and friends (the same friends from Season One) split up to defend their stations. I'm a man in his mid-thirtys and I think this is the best show to ever hit the TV. I wish there could have been shows like Heroes complete box set 1-4 this on while I was growing up. The Brady's didn't exactly tell it like it was. This show has taught me alot about life, even at my age. The best therapy I'll ever pay for. And Gilmore Girls complete series I got the whole series for one great price.

These interpersonal relationships were among the best on television; most of the characters that populated Sunnydale were dynamic, interesting, and ultimately realistic (I know, shocking for a show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The show's dialogue is witty and original, and the arcs are all engaging and entertaining, but the writers' pinnacle achievement is their ability to tell long, careful, meticulously crafted stories in an episodic Medium 1-6 collection season format. All 144 episodes of the series are self-contained yet they also contribute to an overriding season arc, and ultimately, these seasons compile to illustrate the slayer's full journey. Joss Whedon, series creator and executive producer, was also able to use his creation to explore many genres of cinematic storytelling: Buffy successfully ventured into silent film, musical, and harrowing drama. The standout episodes that were produced from these experiments (Hush, Once More with Feeling, & South Park 1-13 set dvd The Body) receive the most consistent praise, but the series' true strength comes from its ability to routinely juggle drama, comedy, and horror. 'Buffy' ran for seven seasons, and in retrospect it has become the standard by which many genre shows are measured. This series is commonly affecting, genuinely entertaining, and has become an important part 24 hours dvd on sale of pop culture. Let me begin by saying that I was one of THOSE people who disregarded Buffy as another ridiculous WB teen drama. I had never watched an episode until February of this year. But after a friend made me watch Season One I was hooked...I simply cannot get enough of Buffy. I knew that I wanted to buy the entire series at some point, so I was thrilled when this came out. I bought it as soon as I got the money (even at 169.99 this set is a steal). I just got it in the mail, and I must say that I am thrilled to death. Just the fact that I can watch any episode of Buffy whenever I'm in the mood is SO awesome. That being said, I am a little disappointed in the packaging. One of the plastic sleeves that the discs are stored in has already broken off, and one of the cardboard folders is really creased. The booklet was a little torn. Overall I'd say it's shoddy packaging. But that doesn't negate the fact that I have all the seasons at an incredibly reduced price. I really can't complain too much.This is a definite must-buy for all the people who love Buffy but haven't bought all the seasons yet. I hope that if this sells well enough that Fox will release an Angel box set that I can buy as well! That would just be too exciting!!!
